*Both sessions will be run simultaneously but the respective groups will be split.
THE SESSIONS WILL BE A BLEND OF BOTH SPEED AND STRENGTH TO HAVE AN APPROACH OF DEVELOPING WELL ROUNDED YOUNG ATHLETES
A games-based approach is a training method inspired by observing children playing in the park. It combines the elements of play with challenge levels that offer a balanced amount of success and failure to keep young athletes engaged. Our strength games in the gym are designed to help young athletes build strength, power, and control using bodyweight and external resistance. Our goal is to make strength training fun, accessible, and relevant to sports so that kids can develop a passion for it.

The RD Speed + games program aims to develop optimal running mechanics, coordination, and athletic abilities in a fun and engaging way. Our approach involves training young athletes to utilize their entire body for improved speed and power output. Through our program, athletes learn to enhance their performance by using proper techniques and maximizing their physical potential. Term 4 will also have a added 30 min of free play of games that the kids choose to play. This is not only limited to football but can be an array of games that encourage open, informal and free play for everyone to express themselves and have exposure to a wide variety of movements.
